Property Tax Appeals and RFRs

Property Tax Appeals and RFRs

At Davidzon Law our real estate law team has a depth of experience working together with our clients to appeal their property taxes and achieve reductions. We work with our clients to appeal their property’s Ontario Municipal Property Assessment Company (MPAC) assessment through the Request for Reconsideration (RFR) process. This involves preparing a case to be submitted to MPAC and negotiating with property assessors. If the desired reduction is not received we will take our case to Ontario Assessment Review Board (ARB) where we conduct a trial on our client’s behalf and present our case to the tribunal. We understand the high cost of property taxes and the effect that an arbitrary increase can have on our clients and have experience achieving tangible and beneficial results on their behalf.

Davidzon Law real estate law team are well versed in all aspects of real estate law in Ontario and have years of experience acting on behalf of our clients to achieve their goals. We regularly work together with real estate agents and mortgage brokers to ensure that our clients complete their transactions with ease and without worry. We know that real estate transactions are a major moment in the lives of our clients and we are proud to represent them.
